I knew that they take small bugs from the flowers that they visit; but, I hadn't realized that the bugs are a major part of their diet, or that they catch them in the same way a flycatcher does, while both the bird and bug are on the wing.
Posted by: PaphMadMan
on: 18 minutes 9 seconds ago

At least part of your information is wrong. There have been at least 3 AOS awards to C. jenmanii alba - 'Virgin' HCC (75pts) 2000, 'von S' AM (82pts) 1998, 'Fuchs Snow' FCC (91pts) 1992. There may have been awards by other organizations as well. Whether any of them are correctly identified or virused I don't know, but if you were unaware of 2 of those clones it gives you a place to start looking.
