John Lennon museum ...and for the few of you who are not fluent in German, a quick translation: The only John Lennon museum in the world is closing its doors due to a lack of customers. During the first year of operation in 2000 approx 124,000 people bought tickets. Since then the number of customers has steadily declined to a current 30,000 per year. The museum will close on September 30, 2010. A contract with Lennon's widow Yoko Ono runs through that date.

It's been thirty years already since he was killed. Time to shut it down.

What I wanna know is if you two boys clicked on the female to create your perfect woman. They were ALL conflicted. None of them is any better a human being than another. George was not a saint. Meditating and hanging at an ashram does not a perfect human being make. But they all were good in their day as a group, that's for sure.

Jo, your attempts at rational thought and refusal to worship designated celebrity gods on command is a constant source of disruptive independent thought which damage perfectly good threads that feature more appropriately hysterical inputs. You should be aware that your lifetime achievement status in the local idiocracy chapter could be in jeopardy if this drift toward independent thought continues. The irresponsible flaunting of intelligence is discouraged in branch meeting areas of the National idiocracy, such as ours.

I don't believe I said he was saintly though by now, hopefully he is a saint! It's just that he was naughty in a nicer way than Lennon.

Great stuff, really....an actual museum dedicated to a cacophony of shrill noises emitted from the mouths of a group of cretins beating on tin cans and pulling on tightened strings. And all the while performing this miracle over the screaming and wailing of another, much larger, group of even more cretinous drones who actually paid good money to listen to the cacophony so they could scream and wail while it was happening....thereby making it impossible to hear the shrill noises anyway. Very impressive, our artforms.........

I can hardly wait for your reviews of Picasso, van Gogh, or Shostakovich for that matter. The cave paintings and drum beating of our ancestors beat deeply in our psyche.
