WOW! If I was to do that here..I would be MOBBED by Orchidist who are REALLY mad at me! The snow isn't a great place for orchids to thrive in! On a more serious note! F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C! Though if you could list the names of the various orchids..would be better. Just to see what your collection consists of (I did notice that you have, at least guessing at...is a Dendrobium on the last picture). Seeing orchids that are HAPPY in a natural environment is so wonderful! Thanks for sharing!

WOW, fantastic! Where do you live? Seems a very tropical area, like Puerto Rico.
The plant on the third photo looks like my Liparis viridiflora, which I posted some time ago. It can get humongous so I suggest you put it between big branches ( horqueta ) of a tree so it will not fall off.

What part of the PI are you in?
Don't you guys have a rainy season each year - one that might be too hard on a lot of orchids unless you use fungicide?
Also, do you know where to get any Vanda javierae (they are native to Luzon)?

Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! I'd love to be able to grow outside all year and watch both the trees and the orchids grow big and strong. You have lots of nice roots and that means nice blooms sooner or later...let's hope sooner and post photos.

Stunning, simply stunning!
You have inspired me and given me a great idea. First I have to learn a lot and ensure I have growing them correctly in pots, however, here is a big question for you and all the experts. I live on a mountain in vancouver canada and just installed 3 large skylights to make a sunroom, the ceiling is 8ft high, what type of tree (hard wood, soft wood etc) could I pot, to eventually put my orchids on just like yours? I have a great spot, and if it doesn't have to be too tall or big, the atmoshere may work well. What do you think?
