I received my mail order yesterday.
I ordered 5 cattleyas, all in the $10 -$15 price range:

C.mossiae "Pauwela"x self,
Laelia Purpurata var. carnea,
C. Schroederae x self,
Blc. Chia Lin "Shinsu#1",
Blc. George King x Lc. Irene Finney.

Purpurata even has 2 sheaths! Roots are fine-I replanted big ones today, actually I simply removed all the bark pieces and did not replace them with anything( please, tell me if it is wrong). Stuck them in the same pots - will try "pot in a pot" method.

During the shipment - 3 days - they sweat in the package - so I had to remove some freshly blackened layers of the bulbs skin. But after this manipulation they look absolutely gorgeous, and I just will try to not to kill them now.

The size those of the 3'5 inch - HUGE.
I got a free "Thank you" plant also - Bc Mrs J Leeman (B.digbyana x C. dowiana)

Great people and excellent plants. You will love that purpurata when it blooms next May! Nata, they are called "sheaths"and you indeed have two which should both bloom.

I usually place an order once or twice a year with them. Always have received wonderful plants at very reasonable prices.

Free shipping? How they survive?
I feel bad that the big ones are so big (but the little ones are too little, so it sort of balanced itself).

Very, very nice plants! That purpurata is huge!

I received today my order from Norman's. I will post photos tomorrow because the UPS guy came at 6:30 PM and it was already too dark. I just unpacked them, but was afraid to handle them too much in the dark ( I don't have a bright light in my carport ).

I've ordered on-line and at shows. Awesome people really making quality orchids affordable - I have 2 C. dowiana Rosita from them, $15 each - and healthy, healthy plants.
