This Cattleya Walkerinter is blooming out in the greenhouse this morning.

Cattleya Walkerinter is a primary hybrid of Cattleya walkeriana X Cattleya intermedia, registered by Goshima in 1985. This hybrid captures the best qualities of both parents. The bi-foliate growths stand about ten inches high and produce two or three four-inch flowers that are extremely fragrant, and it blooms several times a year. I've had this plant a long time...I got it as a seedling in a trade while I did volunteer work at the Smithsonian Institution's orchid collection in Washington, DC back about 1986.
