Description
I'm getting disapointed with this clone... this is a piece of an expensive plant I acquired a few years ago. Besides orlata, the flower is also 'pincelada' (something near splashed) and of good shape. Take a look at the first time it flowered for me and you will see what I'm saying http://www.flickr.com/photos/rosim/2322415579/
The thing is that the last two years didn't repeat what it really (I hope!!!) is!

It's beautiful! However, I do see what you mean about the bloom this year vs. it's first bloom. Do you remember my photos of two pieces of the same clone of jenmanii v. semi alba? One in a pot and one on a slab. The one in the pot stayed moist at all times and it got less light. The one on a slab dried out quickly and got more light. There was a considerable difference between the look and quality of the flowers on the two plants, even though they are pieces of the same clone. They also bloomed at slightly different times....one about a month before the other; although, they were only about 6 feet apart.

I'd guess your plant needs less light and a little more moisture, to return to the more full shape with the slight splash on the petals.

Yes, I remember that semi-alba... you are right, my plant is in a very bright place. I'm placing it in a less bright place right now and see what happens next year. Thanks John!
