Description

This is a first blooming for me of this plant. I bought it a year or so ago from Dowery Orchids. I've been waiting for what seems forever for the first flower to open. Now it has opened and it exceeds my expectations. The flower has a soft sweet scent at this point, measures about 2 1/2 inches (bigger than most of the species I've bloomed) and is delightfully exotic.

I'm a happy camper.

I just acquired a smallish sumatrana and I hope it looks like
yours. That's just stunning, Hat. Can't wait for Dwayne to
