Description
I bought this little bright cutie some years ago from H & R. It is a cross of Pot Little Toshie x Lc Jungle Elf. I don't know why it has not been registered yet ( already checked ). It is a seedling, not a meristem. The plant is about 8 inches tall including the infl.

I do like the lip, Irma, but I really prefer the spotted ones. I can't remember the name of the original one I bought (Jungle Eyes, maybe?), but over the years they changed the name to something else, and now I can't remember it or what the name was changed to. Cry I sure would like to replace it, though. It was a spotted one. I think I got one recently that was a Jungle Elf x c. aclandiae (sp?), but I haven't made a list of my new ones, and I can't remember rolleyes

I do love the HR plants, though. Nice folks as well.

It is Lc Jungle Eyes, Jo, ( Lc Jungle Elf x c aclandiae ). The three with photos on the AQ Plus are very spotted and colorful but the shape was horrid. There are a few of the same cross as my plant that came up with some spotting but, as an orchid judge, I prefer a rounder shape. This little plant looks like a tiny Toshie Aoki, doesn't it?

Thanks for the info, Irma. Yes it does look like a Toshie - in fact that's what I thought it was. I guess I'm not a purist as to the flower shape on my old Jungle Eyes. I just loved the color and didn't pay attention to anything else. Obviously, I would never have won a ribbon, but I sure liked it alot. Yippee - now I have a new one and didn't even know it. Dancin
