Description
5 different Cattleya intermedia. I just added a 5th flower to the line-up (v. orlata). This is a first bloom seedling.

Incidentally, none of my C. intermedias were severely damaged in the freeze of March 2008. I have plants in different parts of the greenhouse and even the ones near the outside wall, where it got the coldest, survived with little or no damage. clap

They're all lovely, John. However, I have to agree with ellen; I
really love the alba. BGIL

It's an as yet unnamed clone that I bought about 20 years ago. I nearly killed it in ~2000 - 2002 and then again around 2006. It's been slowly coming back since then.

Real purty John. I still like 'Simon Marcotte' the best.

Lovely bunch, John. And you are correct about cold hardiness. I leave all my intermedias outside in the winter until it goes down into the 30s. They seem to do very well along with the L. purps out there and a few others.

Quite a nice bunch. I like the first one best.

I always prefer this type to the peloric ones.
